Ishita is a lawyer practicing in the field of taxation (international taxation, transfer pricing and corporate taxation) for more than half a decade. She holds an LL.M in Taxation with a specialization in International Taxation from Georgetown University, Washington D.C.  (2015) and an LL.B  from Gujarat  National   Law  University, Gandhinagr (2013). Prior to completing her LL.M, Ishita worked as a research assistant cum law clerk to Honourable Mr. Justice Pinaki Chandra Ghose, Judge Supreme Court of India.
Currently, Ishita heads the tax practice of Aureate Advocates and Solicitors and prior to that she was a Senior Associate at PDS Legal. Ishita is also actively involved with the activities of International Fiscal Association (IFA) in India and is currently serving as the Deputy Representative for the India Chapter of the Young IFA Network. She has conducted study sessions at the IFA Academy and has been invited as panellist for tax conferences. She has appeared before the ITAT, High Court and Supreme Court in matters pertaining to international tax and transfer pricing and has advised clients from various sectors on issues of international taxation.
